I'll start with the good news first. I've now got lots of freetime to get back to this blog (yay!) because I'm now an *official* college graduate. Astericks because I'm not actually holding the diploma in my hands, as they've got a bit of a delay in the transcripts offices, which is really making me a little crazy. Bad news, I've just gotten two more rejection notices back from magazines today. Wouldn't say they are starting to pile up, yet...but two at once is a bit sad.
To make myself feel better I searched the web for other writers and their woes on getting rejected. I rather like distraction no. 99's 15 Side Effects of Rejection Letters, but for something with a light at the end of the tunnel I suggest Meg Cabot's My First Sale at DearAuthor.com and a whole slew of similar My First Sale Posts. I really hope I don't collect an entire US. Mail Bag of rejection letters like her though.

Thanks! I should check out that other post... I'm in need of a light at the end of the tunnel right about now!
